I still remember the first time we visited Rome, what must have been around 7 years ago. It all felt like a magical dream. From the moment we got there, I was in complete awe of this beautiful and ancient city. The culture, the people, the food - it's all so raw and real, fascinating and exciting. It's hard not to fall in love with it all.
This time we discovered a bit more here. We visited a Cat Bistro and a Cat Sanctuary. It was all Alex's idea, haha...I think he is a cat lover in disguise. :) haha
My favorite restaurant in Rome is Ginger. It's right near Spanish steps, so very convenient if you are exploring that part of town. They offer fresh healthy smoothies, salads and much more. All of the produce is organic and local.
If you go to Vatican, I recommend booking an Express tour (you have to do this ahead of time online). You can thank me later as this will save you hours and hours of waiting in the line up.
We stayed at this Air BnB - Get a $20 AirBNB credit if you sign up, using this link. All of us loved it so much. It's located in a great area, close to a farmer's market and lots of hip restaurants. The flat itself is clean and cozy with big windows and a balcony.
Have you been to Rome? What's your favorite thing about it?
